Vedanta limited will consider interim dividend – Business News India

Vedanta Limited, a company associated with the commodity business, is preparing to give a big gift to its shareholders. Vedanta is going to pay interim dividend for the fifth time in the current financial year. Vedanta has informed the stock exchanges that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled on March 28, 2023. In this meeting, the fifth interim dividend for the financial year 2022-23 will be considered and approved. Shares of Vedanta Limited closed at Rs 271.35 on March 23.

Company fixes record date of dividend
Vedanta Limited (Vedanta) has fixed the record date of April 7, 2023 for the fifth dividend of the current financial year. Earlier, Vedanta has given interim dividend 4 times in the current financial year. The company paid an interim dividend of Rs 12.50 in February 2023. At the same time, in November 2022, the company gave an interim dividend of Rs 17.50 and in July 2022, Vedanta gave Rs 19.50. The company had paid an interim dividend of Rs 31.50 in May 2022.

Vedanta shares fell 34% in a year
Shares of Vedanta Ltd have fallen 34% in the last one year. Shares of mining company Vedanta were at Rs 411.20 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on March 24, 2022. The shares of the company closed at Rs 271.35 on BSE on March 23, 2023. Shares of Vedanta have declined by about 15% so far this year. The 52-week high level of Vedanta shares is Rs 440.75. At the same time, the 52-week low level of the company’s shares is Rs 206.10.
