Recently, the name of Malav Rajda, who was the director of the show for 14 years, is also included in the list of those who said goodbye to the show. Malav, who directed ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ for a long time, left the show some time ago.

After Malav Rajda left the show, his wife and actress Priya Ahuja, who played the role of ‘Rita Reporter’ in the show, is once again in the headlines. Actually, Priya took a break from TV in 2019. Now, when the husband of this actress has also left the show, once again it is being speculated that this actress too may have said goodbye to the show because of her husband.

Will shoot when called
Recently, Priya Ahuja revealed in an interview to ETimes that she has not left the show yet. This actress says, “I have not left the show. I haven’t shot for it for a while as I was told that as per the story, my character ‘Rita’ is not required in the show as of now. In future, whenever he calls me for a shoot, I will.”

Thanks to the show
During the interview, when the actress was asked whether her husband was the reason for her disappearance from the show? So the actress flatly refused. She says, “The show has given Malav and me a lot in our careers. After working in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, my career has gone through a lot of ups and downs and it is the same in the case of Malav. He is also thankful for what the show has given him and we met on the sets of this show, so it is even more special for us.”

Priya Ahuja further tells that recently she had received an offer for a show, which is going to be directed by her husband Malav. But the set is far away from her house due to which the actress turned down the offer of the show.
