Actually an episode of Crime Patrol was released recently, which was named Ahmedabad-Pune Murder. The episode featured Shraddha as Ana Fernandes, while Aftab was featured as Mihir, a Hindu boy. In the episode it is told that Mihir and Ana get married in the temple. As soon as the episode went on air, it became embroiled in controversy. Some clips of this episode are also becoming quite viral on social media. Since then, this matter has taken a big shape. On this the dispute on Hindu-Christian started deepening. In the episode, the truth has been shown in a lot of twists. People didn’t like this. For this reason, Boycott Sony TV is trending on Twitter.
Sony channel apologized
Seeing this matter growing, Sony TV itself came forward and clarified. Sony has apologized by sharing a long post on Twitter. Also, this episode has been deleted from all OTT platforms. The apology issued by Sony said, the episode was inspired by a murder case that took place in 2011. It has nothing to do with this recent case. We respect the sentiments of the viewers. We apologize if the sentiments of the viewers have been hurt. This episode has been removed.
