New Delhi: A big accident has happened in Kartarpur of Punjab. Three children were killed and one injured in a train accident here on Sunday. Whose treatment is going on.
Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Jagjit Singh told news agency ANI that the children were on the tracks to eat berries from some trees and did not realize that a train was coming near them. Two of the children died on the spot and the other died on the way to the hospital, he said. The fourth is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Police said that the incident took place when four children of migrant laborers were playing near the railway track near the bridge over Sutlej river. Police said a fourth child was injured in the incident and has been hospitalised. Police said the children were aged between seven and 11 years.
Following the incident, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh expressed his condolences on Twitter and urged the state government to provide “appropriate compensation” to the families of the deceased.
