Who is Amrita Ahuja: She is of Indian-American origin and holds the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Block Inc. He has studied from premium universities like London School of Economics, Duke University and Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Block in 2019, he worked with companies such as Airbnb, McKinsey & Company, The Walt Disney Company, among others.
Amrita Ahuja started her career as an investment banker in 2001 with Morgan Stanley. According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, Ahuja is of Indian origin and her parents owned a day-care center in Cleveland.
What is the charge: Hindenburg has accused Block Inc founders Jack Dorsey and James McKelvey as well as Amrita Ahuja and Cash App chief manager Brian Grasdonia of “dumping millions of dollars in stock”. The report also said that Jack Dorsey and top officials ensured their own safety without regard for others.
